Skydiving has always been on my bucket list. By 2020, watch me from the sky with a huge smile on my face. It will be frightening but mostly, exciting!
Moving to Canada is one of the scariest things I've ever done in my life. I built my life and career in my home country, the Philippines, for as long as I can remember. I never imagined that I would be working and raising a family in a foreign country 6,933 miles away from my parents and siblings but here I am.
“Do you think about how your life could have turned out if you didn't do a grand gesture for yourself or someone else?”
I challenge you to paint three possible outcomes and write them down on a piece of paper. Close your eyes and visualize yourself in those situations. If you could make adjustments to make yourself better or happier, would you? I encourage you to follow your instinct and believe in yourself.
You have the power to bring light into your life.
Seek new adventures and discover yourself
Most people would tell you that time is of the essence or time is gold or time heals everything. These are all correct notions about time... but it could mean so much more!
When you go to places you've never been, time doesn't seem to exist in that realm. Every bit of knowledge that you assimilate from visiting a museum, a place of worship or a market nourishes your heart, mind and soul.
When you travel, you become this new person and that place will never be the same after you had left.
When you return from traveling, you look at the rest of the world differently and you discover yourself more deeply.
